- 3:1 My son, do not forget my instruction, But let your heart keep my commandments;

我儿，不要忘记我的指教，你心要谨守我的诫命；
- 3:2 For length of days and years of life And peace will they add to you.

因为它必将长久的日子、生命的年数与平安，加给你。
- 3:3 Do not let lovingkindness and truth forsake you: Bind them around your neck; Write them upon the tablet of your heart.

不可使慈爱、真实离弃你：要系在你颈项上，写在你心版上。
- 3:4 Thus you will find favor and a reputation for fine understanding In the sight of God and man.

这样，你必在神和人眼前蒙恩宠，有美好的悟性。
- 3:5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding;
-
你要全心信靠耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明；
- 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
-
在你一切的道路上，都要认定祂，祂必修直你的途径。
- 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear Jehovah, and depart from evil.
-
不要自以为有智慧；要敬畏耶和华，远离恶事。
- 3:8 It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones.
-
这便医治你的身体，滋润你的骨头。
- 3:9 Honor Jehovah with your substance And with the firstfruits of all your produce;
-
你要以财物，和一切初熟的出产，尊荣耶和华。
- 3:10 Then your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will burst open with new wine.
-
这样，你的仓房必充满有余，你的酒醡必盈溢新酒。
- 3:11 My son, do not despise the chastening of Jehovah, Nor be weary of His discipline;
-
我儿，你不可轻看耶和华的惩治，也不可厌烦祂的管教；
- 3:12 For whom Jehovah loves He disciplines, Even as a father, the son in whom he delights.
-
因为耶和华所爱的，祂必管教，正如父亲管教所喜爱的儿子。
- 3:13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding.
-
寻得智慧，得着聪明的，这人便为有福。
- 3:14 For her profit is better than the profit of silver, And her income is better than gold.
-
因为赚得智慧胜过赚得银子，其收益强于金子。
- 3:15 She is more precious than corals, And nothing you desire compare with her.
-
智慧比珊瑚更宝贵，你一切所喜爱的，都不足与她比较。
- 3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.
-
她右手有长寿，左手有财富与尊荣。
- 3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace.
-
她的道路是安乐的道路；她的路径全是平安。
- 3:18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her, And happy are those who hold her fast.
-
对持守她的人，她是生命树；持定她的是有福的。
- 3:19 Jehovah by wisdom founded the earth; He established the heavens by understanding;
-
耶和华以智慧立大地，以聪明定诸天；
- 3:20 By His knowledge the depths were broken open And the skies drop down the dew.
-
以知识使深渊裂开，使天空滴下甘露。
- 3:21 My son, do not let these depart from your sight: Keep sound wisdom and discretion;
-
我儿，要谨守真智慧和谋略，不可使这些离开你的眼目。
- 3:22 And they will be life for your soul And a graceful ornament for your neck.
-
这些必作你魂的生命，作你颈项的美饰。
- 3:23 Then you will walk on your way securely, And your foot will not stumble.
-
你必安然行路，你的脚必不至绊跌。
- 3:24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; But you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.
-
你躺下，必不惧怕；你躺卧，必睡得香甜。
- 3:25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear, Nor of the destruction of the wicked when it comes;
-
忽然来的惊恐，你不要害怕；恶人的毁灭临到，你也不要恐惧。
- 3:26 For Jehovah will be your confidence, And He will keep your foot from being caught.
-
因为耶和华是你所信靠的，祂必保守你的脚不被缠住。
- 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so.
-
你手若有行善的力量，就不可推辞，当向那应得的人施行。
- 3:28 Do not say to your neighbor, Go, and come back; And tomorrow I will give it-when you have it with you.
-
你那里若有现成的，不可对邻舍说，去罢，明天再来，我必给你。
- 3:29 Do not devise harm against your neighbor, While he lives securely beside you.
-
你的邻舍既在你附近安居，你不可设计害他。
- 3:30 Do not strive with a man without cause, If he has done you no harm.
-
人未曾加害于你，你不可无故与他相争。
- 3:31 Do not envy a man of violence, And do not choose any of his ways;
-
不可嫉妒强暴的人，也不可选择他所行一切的路。
- 3:32 For the perverse man is an abomination to Jehovah, But His intimate counsel is with the upright.
-
因为乖僻人为耶和华所憎恶；祂亲密的指教与正直人同在。
- 3:33 The curse of Jehovah is in the house of the wicked man, But He blesses the dwelling place of the righteous.
-
耶和华咒诅恶人的家庭，赐福与义人的居所。
- 3:34 To scorners He is scornful, But to the humble He gives grace.
-
祂讥诮那好讥诮的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。
- 3:35 The wise will inherit honor, But fools increase their own disgrace.
-
智慧人必承受尊荣，愚昧人必加添自己的羞辱。
